Pizza: what are your favorite flavors?

Pizza that goodness: 100 shades of taste

"Pizza, what a passion!" this is perhaps the phrase we most often read on take-away pizza cartons. And how can you disagree?

That pizza is one of the most loved foods in the world is a great truth, there is no country that does not know it and has made a reworking of it, based on local tastes. And although some say that it is unknown who invented it, in who knows what part of the Earth, we Italians do not resign ourselves and continue to affirm that pizza is "ours" and we invented it.

It is certainly not a statement based on nothing: in Italy, pizza is a must in the diet : about 8 kg per capita per year is consumed! Is there another dish that is so popular?

The success of pizza is precisely its versatility : it can be prepared on all occasions, in a thousand flavors, purchased in a pizzeria, enjoyed at the table or to take away; but it can also be easily prepared at home, where everyone decides freely which ingredients to use, only referring to personal tastes.

Cheerfully red or white, without tomato, topped with the most classic ingredients or with the really unusual ones, closed or open ... The pizza has so many nuances of taste that it is always customizable. And it never disappoints.

Tastes of pizza

There are those who prefer classic , the sweet margherita with a few precious ingredients, in which the flavors are so distinct from each other that they are unmistakable.

However, there are also many variants of this timeless classic: mozzarella can be fiordilatte or buffalo mozzarella, some prefer basil and some prefer oregano. It also pleases vegans, who dress it with fresh vegetable cheese and EVO oil: pizza margherita always remains true to itself.

But even the " fundamentalists " of pizza, inextricably linked to tradition, have tried different tastes at least once in their life: just add one or more ingredients to transform it into "capricious", varied and tasty with artichokes and boiled egg, "four seasons", with peas and cooked ham, or a spicy "diavola" with tasty spicy salami: the extremists of "spicy" even spread it with Calabrian nduja ! < / p>

In the rest of the world, we know how many reworkings have been made: for many the principle "the more seasoned, the better" often applies. And the toppings are truly the most varied: the pineapple pizza for Americans is a delicacy, as is the pepperoni pizza, super stuffed with the addition of sausage and (even!) Corn.

Did you know, then, that Brazil has the largest number of pizzerias in the world? And there the pizza becomes thin, with a pronounced edge and stuffed with the most daring toppings (even the Strogonoff beef!). But after all, pizza is eaten so often that changing its taste only serves to make it appreciated even more .

It is not for nothing that it has also been rediscovered by famous chefs who have created gourmet versions: there is one with shrimp, one sprinkled with dried fruit, pizza with beans from the garden and even the variant with mortadella and lemon. Will the most curious will like these innovative pizzas? The identity, however, always remains the same and the taste of the pizza remains exclusively a matter of ... personal taste.

Pizza at home: creativity and taste

Now, regardless of the prestige of a chef who decides to rework and create his own pizza remodeling, each of us has improvised as a pizza chef and has prepared one at home, at least once in his life .

And pizza really lends itself to indulging personal inspiration: a little manual kneading is enough, following the traditions handed down in the family or, more modernly, relying on the indications of the numerous tutorials on the web.

Once the dough has completed the leavening, all that remains is to roll it out and give vent to creativity: the homemade pizza is genuine, original because everyone season it as they want, gives satisfaction in preparing it and, subsequently, in offering it to friends, family or - why not - even in eating it alone, hot and fragrant, fresh from the oven.

There is no other dish that expresses the idea of conviviality like pizza and, if made at home, it has a valuable added value: our creativity.

Prepare tasty pizzas at home with the Caliente pizza oven

Fun and satisfying , the preparation of pizza at home today finds a great ally in the electric oven Spice Caliente . In just 5 minutes the pizza is ready, cooked to perfection, thanks to the circular resistance with a diameter of 32 cm that reaches 400 ° C in temperature, perfectly simulating the heat of the oven of a professional pizzeria.

The hob on which to place the pizza is made of non-stick refractory stone, the stainless steel cap ensures uniform heat distribution, ensuring an always impeccable result.

Preparation is quick and simple and the Spice Caliente oven does not release fumes or bad smells: just a delicious fragrance of excellent pizza, prepared with ingredients chosen to satisfy everyone's tastes.

The oven, being equipped with a thermostat, keeps the heat constant to allow the preparation of one pizza after another. But we can also cook savory pies, meat, toast and even chestnuts! Just use an aluminum container to rest on the hob to avoid getting it dirty, just like we would do with a traditional electric oven.

Once the job is finished, just leave the hood up, let the oven cool and when we want, clean it simply and quickly, passing the palette in steel on the plate to remove residues and then clean it with a cloth dampened with water only.

Need anything else? Only two fundamental ingredients: passion and imagination . And the pizza is served!
